Whether you're navigating middle school or high school, you'll find opportunities to ask big questions, deepen your relationship with God, and make lasting memories.
Through Sunday School, Confirmation, Youth Group, mission trips, and fun events, we empower students to live out their faith boldly and authentically. Come as you are—and discover who you’re becoming.

Sunday School

Grow in faith together. Sunday School at Birmingham First is a welcoming space where students explore the Bible, ask meaningful questions, and build lasting friendships—all while discovering God’s love in engaging and age-appropriate ways.

Join us in The Pit during the 9:30 AM service throughout the school year, and at 10:00 AM during the summer.

Missions

Each summer, students have the opportunity to serve at Henderson Settlement in Kentucky—an unforgettable experience of hands-on service, spiritual growth, and community impact. Mission opportunities continue throughout the year, offering students meaningful ways to live out their faith and make a difference locally and beyond. Confirmation

Take the next step in your faith journey. Our Confirmation program offers students a meaningful opportunity to explore their beliefs, ask thoughtful questions, and affirm their commitment to a life of faith. Through engaging lessons, open discussion, and a supportive community, students deepen their understanding of God and discover their place in the church. We offer 8-week sessions in the Fall and Spring for 8th graders, with fast-track options available for 10th–12th graders once a year as needed. Opportunities for Adult Leaders

Do you feel called to support the spiritual growth of young people? Birmingham First Student Ministries welcomes adults who are interested in mentoring, leading, or serving alongside our youth.
