Unite 3-on-3 Basketball

WHAT IS UNITE 3 ON 3?
UNITE 3 on 3 is a winter youth basketball program for children in Young 5s through 4th grade (5th grade for girls). Our program focuses on faith, fun, fellowship and developing basketball skills in a welcoming, encouraging environment.

Each Saturday morning, players participate in skill-building practices, games and a short faith moment. The season also includes an outreach project that encourages children to serve others while learning valuable lessons about teamwork, sportsmanship and community.

All children are welcome! You do not need to be a member of Birmingham & Berkley First to participate.


WHEN IS IT?
Saturdays, January 16 – March 13, 2027
No games or practices on Saturday, February 13, due to Winter Break.

Session 1 | 9:00–10:30 a.m.
Co-ed teams featuring:
Boys: Kindergarten–1st Grade
Girls: Kindergarten–2nd Grade
Session 2 | 10:30 a.m.–12:00 noon
Separate boys' and girls' teams:
Boys: 2nd–4th Grade
Girls: 3rd–5th Grade
Session assignments are generally based on grade level. Players may be moved between sessions depending on skill level and age-group breakdowns.


WHERE IS IT?
Practices and games take place at the Christian Life Center at Birmingham First (1589 West Maple Road, Birmingham, MI).

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
Registration is $110 per child (includes a reversable jersey).

HOW CAN I HELP?
We have opportunities for volunteer coaches and youth refs (middle and high school).
COACH AND REF TRAINING IS ON SATURDAY, JANUARY 9, 2027 AT 10:00 A.M.

Middle and High school students are welcomed as referees for the season- these are a paid positions (over the age of 14) or you can get community service hours needed for school or hours toward England/mission scholarships.
No experience necessary- we will train you on what you need to know. Just need to be able to blow a whistle! :)
